Seaside Farmers Market | Santa Rosa Beach, Florida

The Seaside Farmers Market is always a fun stop! What an exciting moment when I noticed these gorgeous doughnuts. When I first saw them, I had no idea they were gluten-free until I got closer to the table. Then I saw the “Gluten-Free” signs on each item!! What a thrill to say the least! I had an entire table to choose from!

The Martin Abel House Bakery tent was a DREAM! It was the Grand Finale of the week at Seaside as we were heading back home after the Farmers Market. Everything on the table was organic AND gluten-free. The desserts were all scrumptious looking! It was a tough decision to just choose a few items when EVERYTHING looked beyond delicious! Amanda is the Baker and she is incredibly talented. Working with different gluten-free flours and fruits is challenging to say the least. She has mastered the challenge! Honestly, everything is worthy of five stars! Everything I tasted was wonderful as each item had so much flavor and was baked to perfection! You would NEVER guess it was all gluten-free.

My favorite dessert has always been a danish. Well, low and behold, Amanda had also made some fresh fruit danishes. The one that really caught my eye was the Pear Danish. It had spiced organic pears from Amanda’s family farm with cream cheese and a vanilla glaze. The pastry was crunchy as I bit into it and every bite had the pears and cream cheese. It’s been about 20 years since I have had a pastry like this.

The Seaside Farmers Market allows the 30A community to learn about seasonality and sustainable farming practices by getting to know the people who grow and prepare their food. The Farmers Market takes place at the Seaside Amphitheater on Saturdays from 9-1, rain or shine. It’s right across the street from Seaside Beach on 30A. If you see Amanda at The Martin Abel House Bakery, please tell her I sent you! I can’t wait to see her again. And I can honestly say, I will be buying a lot more to take home the next time! Feel free to get in touch with Amanda and order items ahead of time. Send her an email at martinabelhousebakery@gmail.com. She will be happy to answer any questions you may have, as she is very sweet and helpful.

From my happy place,
