Click on the above video to get a small taste of the Magnolia Table. The restaurant is a good bit larger than what is shown in this video.

Beautifully detailed tile! The original Elite Cafe, which is now Magnolia Table, was opened in 1919. Boy if the walls inside this restaurant could talk, the stories we would hear!
Magnolia Table had just opened up the week before we got there. Talk about perfect timing! The restaurant is just lovely with every perfect detail jumping out. Everything was so elegant, bright, and fresh. There are beautiful leather pockets on the walls for everyone to deposit their cell phones which allows for endless, enjoyable conversation. My friend Lisa and I certainly enjoyed our own conversation and then made conversation with a mother Angie and her daughter Megan, from Texas sitting beside us. It’s always fun to get to know more nice people! They even had suggestions of more things for us to do, but it’ll have to wait until the next trip. Trip #2 is being planned!

These lovely gals were visiting from Arkansas for a girl’s weekend celebrating retirement! Lisa and I just kept asking everyone “Where are y’all from?” It’s definitely a conversation starter for sure.

Our breakfast at Magnolia Table was so delicious! An unexpected discovery for me as I was not expecting such a gluten-free treat! I thought I would just ‘make do’. Well………..check out my breakfast. I ordered the gluten-free French Toast Breakfast. French toast piled high sprinkled with confectioners sugar, strawberry butter, and warmed maple syrup. My next plate was full of two scrambled eggs, thick peppered bacon cooked to perfection, and cheesy garlic grits in a cute little cast iron skillet! Oh my goodness, everything was fabulous! What a delightful way to begin our day! Oh, Happy Day!!!!

The menus are lovely and classy along with the napkins! The servings were very generous and the prices were not too high. The food was delivered while piping hot by a very friendly server. Actually, everyone that was employed by Chip and Joanna was incredibly kind and sweet. All of the employees we encountered were very intentional and helpful. It really is something to see. Even with the huge crowds, each customer was treated special and I believe was made to feel that their time was valued. Lines everywhere, but each person was treated as if they were the only ones in line! And genuine smiles were on the employees even though they had a long day ahead of them, on their feet, with no slack time I am sure.
Check out my post on the beautiful Silos Baking Co.

What a fun stop for us on our Texas adventure! Magnolia Table was a treat. It is absolutely a treasure with a homey, warm, and intimate feel about it. I will so look forward to coming here again to eat. The same gluten-free French Toast Breakfast will be on my list! Great job Chip & Joanna! You’ve done it again!
