Check out the HUGE mason jar full of sweet tea at the Alabama Sweet Tea Company Food Truck. $8 and the refills are $3. Not a bad deal. The mason jar is so big and has a twist cap with a straw. There is so much space to hang out around the food trucks to eat the food truck treats, to sit on huge yard pillows, or play corn hole. Great fun for the entire family.

The flowers are quite lovely and perfectly landscaped. “Oh look over here!”…..the succulents were fun to see and what a great price! The entire area all around the silos was so peaceful and serene. I bet summertime will have a different feel as there will no doubt be a whole lot more people walking about. You know….the crowds of Summer!

There were so many fun items to purchase or just look at and feel throughout the entire Magnolia Market. Lovely quality items. Check out my post on the brand new Magnolia Table

Welcome to the Grain Barn with hundreds of other people! So many beautiful items on display that are constantly restocked. I really thought the prices were reasonable. It was fun to browse around to imagine what I might like in my future farmhouse!! I bought a few things that could travel back well in my suitcase, along with the baked goods! Lots of folks were buying up things left and right and then standing in quite a long line to pay. And again, the employees were so sweet and intentional acting like each person was the only one in line! Complete eye contact and conversation! I loved that! I was telling my daughter Kate, when do you ever see that anymore? It really went beyond the employees, as the people waiting in line were just as content as they could be. It really was impressive and that it made it even more pleasant.

IT’S DEMO DAY!!!!! reminder. How fun is this gigantic sign?! Hats galore and tee shirts to choose from.
What a sweet and helpful reminder on display from Joanna. Here I am walking around thinking how intentional everyone is, and then I notice this sign. It’s perfect! Such a great reminder to simplify by getting rid of what we don’t need anymore. That allows us to live more simply with less. I need to work on that in my own life.
Right outside the Magnolia Market at the Silos, there is a fun green Waco-Tours tent set up with David Ridley standing nearby. Remember him?! Season 3 Episode 10! He was a bachelor born and raised in Central Texas looking to buy a home. He found one and of course Chip & Joanna did a beautiful job fixing it up! To include a sports backyard with a sandy volleyball court and a basketball court. Sounding familiar yet?!
Y’all, meet David Ridley! David is so passionate about Waco, his tours of Waco, and encouraging others. I wish we would have had time to enjoy a tour that everyone walking by was raving about, but our itinerary was so completely full, we just couldn’t fit it in! We will next trip though! David gave us an overview of his tours and show episodes. David told us that his 2 1/2 tour of Waco reflects the warmth and history of Waco. It’s more than a city tour as his clients really bond well by getting to know each other and just plain have fun. Want to hit the highlights when visiting Waco? OR know where to eat at delicious restaurants, just take the tour! He mentioned to us how authentic and real Chip and Joanna are as well as the people behind the cameras, designers, and producers from Fixer Upper. He also mentioned how great it was working in that environment and that it was one big family. David said the house he purchased completely reflected his own personal story from being broken to being restored and renewed by Jesus Christ. He shares his personal, humble, and deep from the heart testimony on YouTube in addition to various church youth groups and camp events. “We all have a story!” ~ David Ridley He is quick to point out how unique we all are in addition to how much God loves each one of us. It was a pleasure to meet David as he is a genuine, sweet, caring, and hospitable young man. Ladies, he is no longer an eligible bachelor as he is happily married since last summer! Blessings to you David and we can’t wait to take in your tour next time we are in town.
Well, I hope you have enjoyed this little tour of Magnolia Market at the Silos. It was so exciting to be a part of this very sweet part of Waco!
