Hot Mulled Gluten-Free Cider

This cider is perfect for a holiday party. It fills up your kitchen with the most delicious, homey scent. It is the first thing your guests will smell when they arrive at your home!

HOT MULLED GLUTEN-FREE CIDER

  • 1 gallon of apple cider
  • 1 orange1 (46 oz) can pineapple juice
  • whole cloves
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 4 cinnamon sticks

 

Using a toothpick, poke several holes in orange and fill holes with whole cloves. Repeat this process until the orange has desired about of cloves. (See photo for example)  Combine the rest of the ingredients in a large stockpot, stir well and bring to a complete, rolling boil. Remove orange and cinnamon sticks. If preferred, you may also use a small, handheld strainer to removed bits of cloves floating around. Serve hot. Enjoy some quiet time, prayer, and reflection first thing in the morning with this hot cider. Such a nice way to begin or end the day!
