Gluten-Free Chili Kit

Carroll Shelby’s Chili Kit mix is gluten-free! For a quick and easy, no measuring fuss, this chili kit is very convenient.

I fry up 2 lbs of ground turkey breast (you can also use ground beef) and drain on a paper towel, even though there isn’t really isn’t much grease because the turkey is so lean.  The box comes with seasonings. I typically add only 1/8 tsp of the cayenne pepper and I don’t add the salt or corn flour that is included. In addition to the suggested tomato sauce, I also add 2 cans of petite diced tomatoes and 2 cans of dark red kidney beans. I cook this mixture in a crockpot on low for about 6-8 hours. The beans become very tender and the chili has a delicious flavor. Top with shredded cheese, chives, and maybe even Fritos.
