Sally’s Gluten-Free Bakery, Sandy Springs Georgia, was a delicious treat today! I enjoyed chatting with Sally’s Mom Bonnie, about all of their delectable homemade goodies. From pumpkin and banana bread, hummingbird cake with coconut frosting, chocolate chip cookies, pumpkin cake with maple cream cheese frosting to C.R.A.W. Bread (one of my favorites toasted!). The list goes on and on beyond what I just listed. There are samples of everything I just mentioned and MORE! Everything on the counter has that homemade taste, no funky gluten-free taste whatsoever!
Bonnie is so helpful in answering questions about all they have on hand. If you need a cookie cake made to order, just give them a day’s notice.
Bonnie mentioned that years ago she began having tummy issues which resulted in her making gluten-free treats and loaves of bread. As she was bringing her yummy treats to the medical staff she was seeing, they were constantly encouraging her to begin a business where people suffering from gluten intolerance and Celiac Disease could enjoy her homemade goodies. They loved tasting and eating everything! So do I! You know the expression ‘A picture is worth a thousand words.’ So true with capturing gluten-free goodness in these photos.

I brought home some Pumpkin Bread and look forward to bringing home some Sweet Potato Bread and Cinnamon Pecan Coffee Cake next time! What is your favorite Fall sweet treat?

Bonnie and her daughter Sally decided to take the huge step and open Sally’s Gluten-Free Bakery. Bonnie’s son Taylor handles the business aspects. It’s a family affair! Check out their extensive selection of baked goods online.

There are two locations to choose from in the Peach State. Alpharetta and Sandy Springs are the spots to get all of your bakery needs along with homemade pizzas! Honestly, everything is so delicious! Y’all have to try it SOON! If you are visiting from out of state, it’s worth the stop to pop in. Bring a cooler, so you can safely transport frozen items back home.
Tell Bonnie I sent you,
