We started dating when he was a 2nd Lieutenant in the Air Force. I was merely 21 years old at the time. After dating in Upstate NY while he was stationed at Griffiss Air Force Base, we married at the Base Chapel. We wanted his alert tanker squadron crew members to be able to attend our ceremony. Fast forward to today with both of us displaying some gray hair, hubby is employed by a major airline. This is inside the cockpit of the 777. He has had a phenomenal career as a pilot. We have been very blessed with accommodating monthly schedules while raising children, connections with great people that hubby works with, and the privilege of knowing so many people from around the world.
