GLUTEN FREE GEORGIA PEACH PECAN PRALINE PIE

Gluten Free Frozen Pie Crust
1 tsp gluten free all purpose flour
1/3 cup gluten free all purpose flour (divided)
1/4 cup sugar
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
1/2 cup light corn syrup
3 large eggs
3 cups fresh sliced peaches
1/4 cup butter, melted
1/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar
2 Tbsp butter, softened
1/2 cup coarsely chopped pecans

Sprinkle pie crust with 1 tsp flour and set aside. Beat 3 Tbsp flour, sugar and next 4 ingredients at medium speed with an electric mixer for 1 minute. Stir in peaches and 1/4 cup butter and then pour into pie crust. Combine remaining flour and brown sugar in a small bowl; cut in 2 Tbsp butter with a pasty blender or 2 knives until mixture is crumbly. Stir in chopped pecans and sprinkle over peach mixture. Bake at 375 degrees for 45-50 minutes or until center is set, shielding with aluminum foil after 35 minutes to prevent excessive browning. Serve warm with a side of gluten free vanilla ice cream.

I hope you love this recipe that is one of our family favorites. I’ve been making it for 20 years while living in Georgia!

Happy Peach Season,
Rose
