The Compound at the Spring Antiques Week in Round Top Texas was so fun to explore! There were so many booths and barns to take in. The dealers at The Compound Round Top TX were so nice and willing to answer any questions while I was there last week. After seeing a lot of posts in the past on Instagram from The Compound it made me want to find it and check it out!
The French Corner Decor was just lovely, as was one of the owners Armand, at The Compound. What beautiful European antiques and French linens! I was limited with what I could bring home in my suitcase, but I will be feeling very sophisticated when I am using my new kitchen towels!! I wasn’t able to meet the other owner Yves, but he was set up at Marburger Farm. The Compound expands as you walk through the first building! So many dealers, live music, barn after barn, and places to grab a bite. Just perfect with a shady, relaxing atmosphere! The dealers really just let you explore in their booths. There is absolutely no pressure to purchase a thing. Which makes it more fun to dilly dally along taking in the landscaped grounds, fountains, and relaxing under the live oaks or the big tent. Delve into fine European and American antiques; furniture, fixtures, decorative arts, lighting, antique garden and architectural remnants, Mid-century Modern, antique weapons, estate jewelry, silver and so much more……..
The Compound is a whopping 57 acres and located just down the street from Marburger Farm. Very convenient to take in both locations and sit for a spell at each!
A few extra beautiful photo ops as I was heading out of town…..
From the children’s song All Things Bright and Beautiful…..
The tall trees in the greenwood, The meadows where we play…..
All things bright and beautiful,
All creatures great and small,
All things wise and wonderful, the Lord God made them all.
Deep in the Heart of Texas,
